The Origins of Koodugal’s Collaboration with MOP Vaishnav College
The partnership between Koodugal and MOP Vaishnav College for Women has a fascinating history. Every year, the college honors women who have achieved success in various fields, inspiring future generations. This is where our connection began.

The Journey Begins
On October 23, our co-founder, Mrs. Shanthini, applied for the Yuva Samman Award (Young Achiever Award). After a final audition on January 5, we were nominated among four contenders. Although we didn’t receive the award, we were invited to participate in the college’s Women’s Day celebrations on March 7, 2024.

Building Connections
During the Women’s Day event, Dr. Sudha, Head of the Sociology Department, approached us. Mrs. Shanthini also met with Dr. Archana, the principal, during an inspection visit, laying the groundwork for future collaboration.

Further Engagement
On July 24, Mrs. Shanthini delivered a guest lecture on “Sustainability for a Greener Future” for the People’s Club.

Successful Partnership
Finally, on February 22, 2025, Ramani, Head of the Mathematics Department, connected with us. The Student Ministry of Environment organized a workshop and awareness program, which was executed successfully with the college’s support.
